In recent years, with the rapid advancement of urbanization, the number of buildings and the area of construction have increased significantly, putting immense pressure on the environment and resources. Our country has announced to the world that it aims to achieve carbon peak before 2030 and carbon neutrality before 2060. Therefore, how the construction industry can achieve sustainable development during its growth process is crucial, leading to the emergence of 'green construction'.

According to statistics from the China Association of Building Energy Efficiency in 2018, the total carbon emissions from the construction industry in our country amounted to 4.91 billion tons, accounting for 51.3% of the national total carbon emissions. Therefore, from the perspective of energy conservation, environmental protection, and emission reduction, it is imperative to eliminate outdated traditional concrete support techniques in construction pits.

For a long time, the underground support construction in our country's buildings has been influenced by traditional techniques, mostly using one-time reinforced concrete pouring for support, which not only causes serious resource waste but also significantly increases construction costs and labor intensity. Additionally, since concrete needs to be crushed after underground excavation is completed, it generates a large amount of dust, noise, and solid waste, putting immense pressure on the surrounding environment.

In fact, as early as the 1950s, developed countries in the world transitioned directly from wooden support methods to steel support methods in the construction field. Currently, both at the national strategic level and the policy level, energy conservation, emission reduction, and green development have become important components of social development. However, there are still many issues at the implementation level.

With the arrival of the green era, construction itself will no longer be just cold buildings, but a witness to the harmonious coexistence of humans and nature. On the path of high-quality development that practices the carbon peak and carbon neutrality strategy and implements the concept of green development, Ruima will provide more possibilities for green construction and a low-carbon future.
